PREORDER PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION POLICY

PREORDERS AND PAYMENTS
This policy covers our BBQ sauces, BBQ rubs, dessert sauces and gift collections, including Complete Mini Meltdown and Complete Meltdown.
These are preorder products that may not yet have been manufactured and are not ready for immediate shipment. Production is currently planned for December 2026–January 2027. This planning window is not a cancellation deadline or guaranteed delivery date.
Depending on the payment option selected, full payment or a deposit is required at checkout. Deposits count toward the advertised product price and are not an additional fee. The amount payable, remaining balance and balance-collection terms will be disclosed before purchase. Products must be paid in full before shipment.
SCHEDULED PRODUCTION CANCELLATION CUTOFF
The cancellation cutoff for our initial preorder batches of BBQ sauces, BBQ rubs and dessert sauces is January 4, 2027 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST, UTC−5). This includes these products purchased individually or within gift collections, Complete Mini Meltdown and Complete Meltdown packs.
You may cancel the applicable unshipped products for a full refund through that deadline, even if we commit to production earlier.
After the deadline, change-of-mind cancellations are no longer accepted only once we have also committed the relevant batch to manufacturing and incurred production costs. If that production commitment has not occurred, you may still cancel the applicable unshipped products for a full refund.
This cutoff applies only where it was disclosed before purchase and confirmed with the order. Orders placed after the cutoff must have a new cancellation deadline disclosed before purchase; this expired deadline will not apply retroactively.
This is a cancellation deadline, not a guaranteed production, dispatch or delivery date. All mandatory consumer cancellation and refund rights remain protected.
CANCELLATIONS BEFORE THE PRODUCTION CUTOFF
You may cancel the applicable unshipped products for a full refund until the exact production cutoff date, time and time zone disclosed before purchase and confirmed with your order.
If no exact cutoff was disclosed before purchase, you may cancel those products for a full refund at any time before shipment. A deadline communicated only after purchase will not remove that right without your agreement.
We will not move an agreed cancellation deadline earlier without your consent.
AFTER THE CUTOFF AND PRODUCTION COMMITMENT
Once both the disclosed cutoff has passed and we have committed the relevant batch to manufacturing and incurred production costs, we do not accept change-of-mind cancellations or refunds for products committed to that batch, except where required by law.
If the deadline has passed but we have not made that production commitment, you may still cancel the unshipped products for a full refund.
SEPARATE BATCHES AND DESSERT SAUCES
BBQ sauces, BBQ rubs and dessert sauces may have separate production cutoffs.
Each portion of a Complete Mini Meltdown or Complete Meltdown pack follows its own disclosed cutoff and production commitment. Manufacturing or shipping the BBQ portion does not close the cancellation window for a dessert portion that remains eligible for cancellation.
Dessert deposits are fully refundable while the dessert portion remains eligible for cancellation. After its disclosed cutoff and production commitment, the change-of-mind restriction applies to payments and deposits allocated to that portion, subject to applicable law.
We will not retain payments allocated to another portion that remains eligible for cancellation.
REFUNDS FOR ELIGIBLE CANCELLATIONS
We refund amounts paid toward products eligible for cancellation, including deposits and applicable taxes. We also refund shipping charges for any shipment that will no longer take place.
If the whole order is cancelled before shipment, all shipping charges paid for that order will be refunded. Shipping already used for a dispatched portion is not refunded merely because a later portion is cancelled.
No separate cancellation or restocking fee applies.
DELAYS OR CANCELLATION BY US
If we cancel a product or cannot fulfil it, we will refund all payments allocated to it, including applicable taxes and shipping charges for any shipment that will no longer take place.
If we change an advertised dispatch estimate, we will notify affected customers and offer cancellation and a refund for the affected unshipped products, regardless of the production cutoff.
FOOD PRODUCTS AFTER SHIPMENT
We do not accept change-of-mind returns, exchanges or refunds for food products after shipment, whether opened or unopened, including where a customer dislikes the flavour or heat level.
This does not limit remedies for damaged, spoiled, defective, unsafe, incorrect or misrepresented products. Contact us promptly with your order number, a description of the problem, and photographs and lot information where available. Do not consume a product you believe is unsafe or return food without arrangements with us.
REFUND PROCESSING
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 10 business days of an eligible cancellation or confirmation of a product-related refund, or sooner where required by law. Your payment provider may require additional time to display the credit.
HOLIDAY ANNOUNCEMENT CARDS
Sending a complimentary holiday announcement card does not count as shipping the food products, committing a batch to production or ending a cancellation window.
CONSUMER RIGHTS
Nothing in this policy excludes or limits cancellation, refund or other rights required by applicable law, including rights concerning late delivery, missing required disclosures, defective, unsafe, incorrect or misrepresented products.
A production cutoff, deposit payment or start of manufacturing does not override those rights.
